"I hope no one who reads this book has been quite as miserable as Susan and Lucy were that night, but if you have been--if you've been up all night and cried till you have no more tears left in you--you will know that there comes in the end a sort of quietness.

C.S. Lewis

...from Absolute Trust In The Goodness of the Earth

"What many North Americans lost on September 11 is a self-centered innocence that had long grated on the nerves of the rest of the world. With time, more of this innocence will be shed, and this is not a bad thing. With compassion for our ignorance, we might still learn to feel our way among and through shockingly unfamiliar and unexpected shadows. To discover and endure a time of sorrow, yes, but also of determination to survive and thrive, of inspiration and of poems. The adventures one encounters will, of necessity, have a more risk-filled depth."

She wrote, "fingers on keys..cause of that...cause of that...we are living myths...evolving on parallel waves...we are mirrors...we are solid strength...I am bliss...and humbled to have known this beauty".

On November 22, 2005, I found her words buried under my children's art on the fridgidaire. I soaked in the page and smiled. She was a beautiful rose from india owned by an avocado. I loved her. I knew beauty would save me when I read her words and they resurrected the flame in me.

Little did I know she was resurfacing the same day, recreated.

Welcome back. You know you were missed.
